The wooden Greek Catholic Church of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin, Korejovce
The woodenGreek Catholic Church of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin in Korejovce in the Svidník district was built in 1764.
The village of Korejovce, together with the church, was severely damaged during World War II (in 1944). The biggest damage was done to the roof, which collapsed after an explosion. The explosion also damaged the imperial door. After the end of the war, the wooden temple was repaired in 1947.

As for its construction, it is a three-part, three-room, three-tower church with three crosses. It is built on stone foundations which rise a little bit towards the western part of the church. Above each of the three tops on the tower is a decorative three-armed cross. The roof is covered with hand-split shingles.

Three bells from the years 1769, 1771 and 1996 are hung in the bell tower. Instead of the last one, the bell from 1835 originally hung here, however, it was heavily damaged and lost its original sound. Therefore, a new one was cast instead.
