Sninský kameň (Snina rock)
The rock Sninský kameň natural monument is located in the Vihorlat Mountains in the cadastre of the village of Zemplínske Hámre. Due to its great scientific and cultural-social significance, the rockSninský kameň was declared in 1982 a protected natural creation.
Its history dates back to the period of the early Tertiary period, when the rock was formed by volcanic activity. At present, the rock Sninský kameň is a natural monument, which consists of barrens surrounded by protective forest.

At present, the natural monument Sninský kameň is a part of two nature educational trails: Remetské Hámre - Morské oko (Eye of the Sea) and Morské oko (Eye of the Sea) – the rock Sninský kameň (Snina rock) – the ponds Sninské rybníky (Snina ponds).
