Areál zvierat opened its gates in 1984. Only thanks to enthusiasts, sponsors and the town of Stropkov, it was possible to build this exceptional facility. Thanks to this effort, visitors can see llamas, lions, monkeys, meerkats, porcupines, parrots, snakes and exotic birds right in the city center.

In addition to exhibiting foreign animals in 40 aviaries, the Zoopark Stropkov also protects the gene pool of our Earth. Visitors will enjoy the beauty of rare plants, shrubs and trees.
