Open temples

Wooden temples are among the greatest treasures and jewels of art and religion in Slovakia. There are almost 40 of them in the Prešov Region and they are mainly located around Bardejov, Svidník, Stropkov and Snina. The aim of the Open Churches project in the first year was to make wooden churches in the Prešov region accessible to visitors, who will be guided through them by local guides. The first year involved wooden temples in Ladomirova, Bodruzali, Hervart's, Kežmarok (these wooden temples are listed by UNESCO) and also wooden temples in Tročany, Miroli a Uličskom Krivo. In 2021 we delivered audio guides in English, German, Polish and Slovak to 4 wooden temples. Audio guides were delivered to the following 4 temples: Brezhany, Jedlinka, Vyšný Komárnik, Jalova.
