Organizátorom súťaže Choď a foť 2025 (ďalej len „súťaž“) je Krajská organizácia cestovného ruchu Severovýchod Slovenska.
The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers.
The photograph submitted to the competition must be the work of the author who entered it in the competition.
The competition is open to digital photographs and also scanned photographs from 35mm film.
Photos must be high resolution, in JPG (JPEG) format, so that the photo can be enlarged to A3 size - with a minimum resolution of 1600 dots (pixels) on the longer side at 300 dpi.
One author can submit a maximum of 7 photos.

Man and region (portraits, interesting photographs from the life of the inhabitants of the region)
Architecture (photos of buildings - interior, exterior)
Špeciálna kategória r. 2025: UNESCO (1. Levoča, Spišské Podhradie, Spišská Kapitula 2. Bardejov - historické jadro mesta, 3. Drevené kostoly v slovenskej časti Karpatského oblúka - Kežmarok, Ladomirová, Hervartov, Bodružal, 4. Karpatské bukové pralesy - Rožok, Kyjovský prales, Stužica, Havešová)
Photographs in all categories must be taken exclusively na území Prešovského kraja do 12. 10. 2025.
Competition photos must be sent to do 12. októbra 2025 by 23:59 hrs. electronically to e-mail: chodafot@severovychod.sk (or send the photos via the repository - please include the link to the repository in the email). Photos can also be delivered on digital media CD or DVD in person or by post to the address.
To the competition photos is to be specified: - author's name and surname, - Author's age, - author's place of residence, contact (e-mail, phone number), - title of photo, - description to the photo - place and date of creation, - the name of the relevant competition category
After sending photos to the email address chodafot@severovychod.sk, will be delivered to the author of the photographs an email with a form confirming consent with the Competition Rules and with the protection of personal data (GDPR). In the case of sending photos from one email address more than once, the author will receive a confirmation of consent to the Rules of the competition and to the protection of personal data (GDPR) only once to his/her email address.
The organizer of the competition reserves the right, depending on the number and quality of the competition photos, to move the competition photos to another category, to award more prizes within the category, or to award no prizes in the category.
The winners of the competition will be decided by an expert jury. One winner will also be chosen by the public by voting on Facebook profile KOCR Northeast of Slovakia.
By sending the photo, the contestant gives the competition organizer and the co-organizer of the competition - the Prešov Self-Governing Region permission to use the work to the extent of its publication, archiving, reproduction and publication of the work with the indication of the author of the photograph, without the author's right to the remuneration to which he is entitled pursuant to Section 19(2) of Act No. 185/2015 Coll. on Copyright. Acceptance of this arrangement shall be deemed to be acceptance of a gratuitous licence.
By submitting a photo, the author agrees to the terms and conditions of the competition.
This organisation was established under Act No. 91/2010 Coll. on the Promotion of Tourism. The founder is the Prešov Self-Governing Region together with the regional tourism organisations (OOCR).
