On Sunday 14 July 2024 in Stržbe to be held 46th year of the Small Štrbské Štrbské marathon. More than 10 days before the race, 600 athletes from the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Norway, Germany, Ukraine and Slovakia are registered. Up to 5 winners from previous years will be at the start of the 31 km course.
Start of the main 31 km track from Štrba to Liptovská Teplicey and back is scheduled by 9:30 a.m.. Approximately at 10:20 the first runners will run through Liptovská Teplička and at 11:10 they will run to the finish at the Culture House in Štrba. The MŠM track is popular with runners especially for its profile and unique atmosphere. A valuable legacy for the sport's future is also an honestly processed historical table, which records all the results since the first year, and on the event's website you can find a number of well-known and successful athletes who have participated in this event in the past.
Children and adolescents will compete again in the streets of Štrba, who will receive a small participation medal and small sweet rewards for their performance. The race is free for all children and is a great treat for the spectators waiting for the endurance runners. Other participants can also compete in a spectator raffle.
