The Military Climatic Spa is a facility of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic. In addition to members of the Armed Forces, they also provide their services to clients who are interested in weekly medical stays or hotel accommodation.
The spa is situated in the southeastern part of the High Tatras less than 2 km from the tourist centre Tatranská Lomnica. Its location and altitude of 885 m above sea level make it ideal for the treatment of respiratory system diseases.
The family atmosphere that the facility breathes, the excellent healing effects of the alpine environment and the professional staff create the conditions for rest and relaxation. Spa care and the provision of all treatments is concentrated directly in the spa building.
The basic therapeutic factor is climatotherapy suitably supplemented by inhalation therapy, balneotherapy, light therapy, electrotherapy, therapeutic physical education and, if necessary, medical treatment.
