Andrejcova refuge

Pri hlavnom hrebeni Nízkych Tatier smerom na Kráľovu hoľu nájdete miesto s jedinečnou atmosférou, ktoré odkazuje na prekvitajúce časy slovenského salašníctva. Turistická Andrejcova shelter is one of the few places where it is allowed to stay overnight when crossing the Low Tatras.

Vo vnútri útulne sú stoly s lavicami, piecka a možnosti nocľahu v spoločných priestoroch útulne (prízemie a "pričňa"). V útulni je možnosť zakúpenia občerstvenia a nocľahu (odporúča sa rezervácia).

Jednoduchý drevený zrub sa nachádza na východnom hrebeni Nízkych Tatier, asi 80 m od turistického rázcestia. At the shelter there is a spring of water, a fireplace and among the slashwood there are places suitable for setting up tents. 

Access

You can reach the shelter from the village Liptovská Teplice. Je potrebné ísť po modrej turistickej značke, ktorá vedie od zjazdovky, kde vystúpite až do Sedla pod Doštiankou. There, the yellow marker leads along the side ridge to Pánská hora. The winter path (partly trodden by ski mountaineers) leads mostly through the forest to the Budnárka hut, which is equipped for emergency overnight accommodation. Then it is necessary to continue for 2 hours to the Andrejcová shelter. In winter, we recommend snowshoes or skialp skis for the ascent to the shelter.

Andrejcova refuge is an ideal hiking destination not only for young families with children, but also for experienced hiking enthusiasts, whose path from this cozy place can lead quietly even further, for example along the ridge to the King's Mountain.
