The Salvátorské lúky Nature Reserve is located in the Prešov Region in the cadastral territory of the municipalities of Lipovce and Šindliar. Its total area is 2.68 ha.
The area was declared a nature reserve in 1980 to protect wet meadow bog plant communities with rare plant species for scientific research and educational purposes.
Nature Reserve Salvátorské lúky is one of the two sites of the Siberian linguist (Lingularia sibirica) in Slovakia. The second one is located in the valley of Hnilc in the Slovak Paradise.
The biotopes subject to protection include floodplain willow-poplar and alder forests, kneeless meadows, wet-humid high grassland fringe communities on floodplains from the lowlands to the alpine stage, lowland and foothill hay meadows, bogs with a high content of bases.
