Near the church there is a Renaissance bell tower from 1591, which is considered to be the most beautiful Spiš Campanile.
It has the plan of a square. It is decorated with a Renaissance shield attic with the coats of arms of the Imperial Habsburg family, Hungary and the town of Kežmarok. There is sgraffito decoration on the body of the bell tower.
The Latin inscriptions tell the date of construction: ignea ContIgerat Librae soL LVCIDVs astra hoC aVtor qVanDo ContInVaVIt opVs (The bright sun was touching the brilliant constellation Libra as the creator continued this work.) ANNO MDXCI. XVIII. SEPTEMBER (September 18, 1591).
