The Church of St. Egidius is the second largest in the Košice Archdiocese. It is 50 m long, 31 m wide and the central part of the church is 24 m high.
The six-storey tower ranks among the tallest church towers in Slovakia.On its fourth floor there is a bell tower with two new bells and the original Signum bell from 1625. Other original bells Ján and Urban are placed on the square in front of the basilica.
