The wooden Greek Catholic Church of St. Paraschev, Potoky
The Greek Catholic church in the village of Potoky was built in 1773. The church survived the two world wars without much damage. However, the temple was not repaired until 1956 - 1957.
The wooden temple is consecrated to the holy martyr Paraschev.
Paraschev became known as the herald of the gospel. When asked about her name during Diocletian's persecution of Christians before a pagan court, she replied that her name was Christ.
